The FA Cup isn’t too inspiring odds-wise and you can throw the one Premier League game today into that category as well. Again we find ourselves turning to the Championship for opportunity - back Norwich, Watford and Barnsley at a boosted 5/1 with Skybet.

Norwich v Blackburn:

The Canaries are almost back in the big time and they could be celebrating a club record 10 wins on the bounce on Saturday night. Backing Daniel Farke after relegation has proved a masterstroke - Sheffield Utd take note - and Norwich are cantering towards the title. Blackburn were full of goals earlier in the season, but a run of 1 win in 11 has made their season irrelevant.

Watford v Birmingham:

The team in 2nd are picking up results almost as reliably as the leaders, with Watford on a run of 8 wins in 9 outings. Xisco is the latest man in the hot seat for manager roulette at Vicarage Road and may have a chance to begin a top flight campaign at this rate. Birmingham are the only team we’re backing against with a good recent result to call upon, but chronic inconsistency sees them down in 21st in the table still.

Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday:

Could Barnsley return to the Premier League for a second time after a one-year stint ended in 1998? The Tykes gave everyone a head start this season, after going winless in their first 7 games, but now they sit 5th with a playoff spot within their grasp. They are now over two months unbeaten (W9 D3) while Wednesday are having a torrid time. The Owls’ home draw with Huddersfield was their first point in 8 matches.
