Napoli Still A Dangerous Underdog
Contenders for the title in Serie A last season, a change of coach hasn't harmed Napoli unduly. They beat Liverpool two weeks ago, who in turn were much better than PSG in September.
However good Paris St Germain have been recently, the bookies have surely been too dismissive of Napoli by making them best price 6/1 shots with Coral ahead of their showdown on Wednesday.
PSG were hugely unconvincing when losing 3-2 to Liverpool at Anfield in mid-September, and should have lost by more. They’ve been pretty spectacular since admittedly, but nobody doubted they could be flat-track bullies against mostly weak opponents.
Napoli deservedly beat Liverpool a fortnight ago and have remained a force to be reckoned with in Serie A despite the departure of Sarri. They sit 2nd in the table, within striking distance of Juventus.
They are a very good side who can’t be dismissed on any front.
