Borussia Monchengladbach v Celtic Tip – Double Chance

Borussia Monchengladbach v Celtic Tip – Double Chance

Borussia Monchengladbach are strong favourites having won at Celtic Park but they are without a win in four games in the Bundesliga whilst Celtic have tightened up defensively.

Apart from City v Barcelona, Tuesday’s round of Champions League matches looks rather lopsided with six heavily odds-on teams. It’s tough to find an upset in any of these games but the most likely looks to be in the Borussia Monchengladbach v Celtic encounter.

The German side won 2-0 at Celtic Park in the last round of fixtures and should be even stronger with home advantage but it is dangerous to right off Celtic. Brendan Rodgers has worked on his defence and the results are starting to appear, with Celtic keeping five clean sheets in their last six matches. The outlier is of course the Gladbach game but they’ve bounced back from disappointment in Europe before.

Celtic gave City a real scare in their humdinger of a 3-3 draw and a Europa League place is still within reach of the Scottish champions. Meanwhile, Borussia Monchengladbach are a middling Bundesliga side without a win in four games in Germany.

This could be closer than the bookmakers expect and a Celtic/Draw in the double chance market is attractive at 19/10 with Coral.
