Two years ago we raked in the profits by predicting Barcelona to beat Manchester United 3-1 at best odds of 18/1 and I think Bayern Munich can replicate that success. The Bavarians could be a couple of goals superior to their Bundesliga rivals but they may not keep a clean sheet.
The case for Jupp Heynckes’ team winning with something to spare feels like an easy one to make. Juventus were defeated by a couple of goals in both quarter-final legs before Barcelona were dispatched 4-0 and 3-0 in the semis.
But equally you can’t see Dortmund being annihilated on their big night. Jurgen Klopp’s boys went unbeaten in this competition before the second leg of their semi-final at the Bernabeu. Furthermore, any team that can put four past Real Madrid, as they did in Germany, will be hard to shut out in the final.
If Bayern get ahead in the first half then I anticipate a lively end-to-end encounter with the superior side coming out on top. Ladbrokes offer 14/1 on a 3-1 win for Munich which are the best odds available on the market even without the additonal money-back insurance.
