The German international is enjoying a stellar campaign in which he has struck 22 times in all competitions, with 8 goals coming in 12 appearances in this particular competition.
The 23-year-old has tended to pounce when it really matters. He equalised late on against Valencia in the group stages and tapped in against Juventus in the quarter-finals.
