Champions League Betting: Spurs Reduce AC Resistance
Odds-on to make the Quarter Finals. Spurs are now 16/1 for the Champions League after a 1-0 win in Milan.
Tottenham are now just 16/1 for Champions League glory after Peter Crouch broke Milan’s resistance with an 80th minute winner.
After dominating the first half, Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes made two fine second half saves to keep the scores level. Sensing a possible victory, Milan poured forward and were hit with the sucker punch. With Milan over committing players, the excellent Aaron Lennon made the best of a two-on-two counter attack, squaring for Crouch to score.
The result leaves Tottenham overwhelming 2/5 favourites with Skybet to qualify for the quarter finals.
The tie between Valencia and Schalke is still finally poised with the German’s 5/6 favourites to progress after they drew 1-1 in Spain.
