Celtic win as Lennon Assaulted

The SPL will be settled on the final day

Celtic took the SPL title race to the final day with a 3-0 win at Hearts, but manager Neil Lennon was attacked by a fan.

Celtic convincingly took maximum points with a 3-0 win at Tynecastle, but football was overshadowed yet again as Neil Lennon was assaulted on the sidelines. The Hearts fan leapt out of the crowd and swung a punch at the Celtic boss shortly after the away side went two goals up.

Rangers are still a best price of 1/4 to lift the trophy with a win at Kilmarnock on the final day enough to retain their title. Any slip-up at Ibrox can be capitalised on by Celtic if they triumph at home to Motherwell. A league winner’s medal for Neil Lennon is a 7/2 shot with Boylesports.
