Bradford City: From 2000/1 to 11/2 for Cup Glory

The League Two Bantams have punched above their weight repeatedly en route to Wembley.

With a team from the fourth tier of English football already waiting in the final, Wednesday night’s second League Cup semi-final throws up an extraordinary opportunity for two top flight clubs.

Bradford are a best price 11/2 (Coral) to win their first major trophy since 1911 having been 2000/1 shots back in August. Swansea, carrying a 2-0 lead into their home leg against Chelsea, are the 4/6 (Skybet) favourites to pick up their first ever piece of major silverware.

The European champions are currently 5/2 (Bet365) to claim the trophy as they have a mountain to climb at the Liberty Stadium. Interestingly, the bookies expect them to win on the night (5/6 StanJames) but make them nothing better than 9/4 (Ladbrokes) to qualify.
