Bookies Not Kean On Blackburn

Blackburn are 4/9 (William Hill) favourites to be relegated with their manager long odds-on to leave his role.

Look up ‘untenable’ in the dictionary and there is probably a picture of Steve Kean. So unpopular is the Blackburn manager you could almost imagine the Oxford University Press turning against him.

Blackburn sit bottom of the Premier League after defeat at home to Bolton, a game where the home support again vented their frustrations. Sportingbet go 1/5 that Steve Kean is the next manager to leave their post, with Owen Coyle looking much safer at 6/1 (Skybet).

Blackburn have also moved to the head of the relegation betting after Tuesday night’s result and can be backed at 4/9 (William Hill) to be relegated, 9/4 (William Hill) to finish bottom or 2/1 (Skybet) to stay up.
