Ba For Good
The Toon Army have received a timely lift with both their Senegalese strikers returning early from Africa.
Newcastle United have been handed a timely boost with leading scorer Demba Ba and new signing Papiss Demba Cisse both returning early from the African Cup of Nations. The duo are heading back to England after Senegal lost both their opening games to Zambia and Equitorial Guinea.
The Magpies are enjoying a fine season and are 4/1 (StanJames) to finish in the top six spot they currently occupy. Ba is 16/1 (Betvictor) to finish as the top scorer in the Premier League; he is currently second with 15 goals, only trailing Robin Van Persie who has 19. Cisse is yet to make his debut having recently signed from German club Freiburg.
