Hussey and Hauritz out of the ICC Cricket World Cup
Injuries have ruled out key players for Australia but they still remain third favourites in the ICC Cricket World Cup betting.
Bookmakers have pushed Australia out to 11/2 to win the ICC Cricket World Cup after the news that Mike Hussey and Nathan Hauritz have been ruled out through injury. Both players have excellent ODI records with Mike Hussey averaging almost 52 with the bat and a key componenet to Australia’s middle order. Callum Ferguson and Jason Krejza are set to be their replacements.
There is good news for Australia with Ricky Ponting set to be fit for the World Cup and in form all-rounder Shane Watson reporting a clean bill of health after being rested for the last one day international against England.
