Wimbledon Tip: Kerber v Radwanska

Everything suggests that this match should go right to the wire and it would be a real surprise if either player won in straight sets.

The ladies semi-final between Angelique Kerber and Agnieszka Radwanska looks so evenly matched that the obvious first bet is to back the match to go to three sets (over 2.5) at a best price of 5/4 with Bet365.

The head-to-head clashes between the pair stand at two wins apiece and the last three encounters have all gone to a decider so we’re merely looking for that trend to continue.

Furthermore, both top-10 players look almost inseparable by most other criteria as well. Both women progressed through their first four rounds without dropping a set. Both then went the distance in their respective quarter-finals before eventually overcoming mid-seed opponents 7-5 in the final set.

The similarities go on. Both ladies have risen through the ranks to their highest positions to date courtesy of progressive 2012 seasons. But neither has ever contested a Grand Slam final, so both are liable to be nervous on Thursday.

The match can only go to two sets or three, so to get better than evens money on the much likelier outcome must be a bargain.
