Murray Hot Favourite for Queen's

Murray is in great form.

The British number one is short odds to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Sunday's final.

Andy Murray is all set to warm up for Wimbledon in perfect fashion after he overwhelmed four-time Queen’s champion Andy Roddick 6-3 6-1 in the semi-finals. The man from Dunblane is now just 1/4 with Boylesports to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and claim the trophy. The world number 17 ended the seemingly outrageous hopes of an all-British final when he defeated James Ward 6-3 7-6. The 24-year-old Londoner, ranked 216 in the world heading into Queens, was understandably nervy early on, losing the first three games which would ultimately cost him the first set. After that he acquitted himself superbly however, breaking Tsonga in the second, before being edged out in a tie-break.

The Frenchman is 18/5 with Sportingbet to put a dampener on Murray’s grass-court preparations, but the weather may be the greatest danger in that respect. The London weather is looking ominous and William Hill see this as a familiar sign of things to come, going 8/1 on Wimbledon being played out without a rain delay.
