French Open Tip: Rafa Nadal

The Spaniard, on this surface, is the nearest thing tennis has ever seen to invincible.

After winning seven of the last eight French Opens we have little reason to back against Rafael Nadal, but StanJames have given us one further massive incentive. We get our money-back if Novak Djokovic (11/4 PaddyPower) triumphs at Roland Garros instead.

The case for Nadal is compelling with doubts over his fitness largely brushed aside since his emphatic comeback to tennis in February. The Spaniard has actually enjoyed his best ever start to a year with 36 victories and just two losses.

The undisputed king of clay has only lost once on this surface in 2013 and that was in Monte Carlo to Djokovic. The world number one has made this tournament a priority as he bids to complete his set of Grand Slam titles. That is why this is such a great promotion for us to take advantage of.

The chances of somebody other than Nadal or Djokovic winning at Roland Garros must be very slim, especially with Andy Murray absent through injury. Only Roger Federer (9/1 WilliamHill) stands out as a major challenger and Nadal trounced the Swiss 6-1 6-3 in the Italian Open recently.

With all this in mind we should be all over Nadal to win the French Open at 8/13 with StanJames

*If Novak Djokovic wins the French Open, Stan James will refund losing outright bets as a free bet up to £50. In order to qualify you must place a SINGLE bet of £5 or more on the Men’s French Open 2013 Outright Betting market. This promotion is available until 23:59 Tuesday 28th May 2013 (GMT)
