York Tips: Jamaican Bolt

An easy winner on his last start and lightly raced enough to expect further improvement.

Jamaican Bolt is taking a massive jump in class in the 4.20 York but looks capable of justifying his trainer’s faith.

He was a wide margin winner on his last start at Hamilton, also in soft ground, with his jockey barely needing to work. Having only his 7th start, there should be plenty more improvement left in him.

Also in his favour is the fact that he races against horses that are predominantly six furlong sprinters. Only Steps, Ancient Cross and Verinco are horses I would classify as 5f specialists and none of them seem at the top of their game right now.

At 11/4 (Ladbrokes), everything is set for Jamaican Bolt to confirm the good impression he made on his last start.
