York Tips: Tiddliwinks
Won this race last year and finished third in 2011. Last place in the Abernant can be ignored, he always needs his first run of the year.
Tiddliwinks is a big price to defend his title in the 3.15 York but I wouldn’t be too concerned about his current form. He is a stuffy horse who always comes on for the run, especially after a long layoff.

In the last three seasons Tiddliwinks has improved markedly on his second start after a long break, therefore I wouldn’t be concerned by his poor run at Newmarket last month.
Well drawn in the centre of the track, he has stablemate Bogart drawn next door to him, who can act as a pacemaker. The fillies in the race look the big danger but Tiddliwinks is overpriced at 25/1 (BetVictor) considering the obvious pattern to his form.
