Tracked overly strong pace at Windsor (also raced wide) and did well to finish fourth in the circumstances. Finished tired but speed rating was good and should improve for the outing.
John Butler runs the same pair of horses as he did at Windsor; Kuwait City came out best that day and looks the one to side with. At Windsor he finished fourth having tracked a very strong early gallop and looked understandably weary in the last 100 yards. Once adjusting for the overly strong pace, the speed rating was good and visually he looked a scopey horse who should improve for the run.
In opposition we have two debutants from well respected yards but Kuwait City showed enough promise on debut to back with a degree of confidence.
