Wolverhampton Tip: True Belief
Favourite is opposable in an a open race. True Belief was the fastest closer from moderate drawn at Kempton and clocked a good time for the grade.
The 5.10 Wolverhampton is wide open and I don’t believe Bahuta Acha has enough in-hand over the handicapper to warrant being 3/1 or shorter. He is in good form but an obvious choice who will be over-bet.
The 3-year-olds in the field are more enticing and i’m falling on the side of True Belief. He finished a nose behind Good Answer at Kempton last time but he can reverse the form. He had to worse of the draw (not much better this time admittedly) and was the fastest closer of the pair (by 0.26s) and the quickest in the race.
He will need to be ridden more handily if he is to win but he’s in good form and underrated off 66.
