Wolverhampton Tips: The Big Short
Ran well over this trip at Kempton, set strong pace and shaped well on return last month at Nottingham.
The Big Short is still looking for his first win in seven starts but that could come in the 1.20 Wolverhampton. Last time he raced on the all-weather he put in a bold front-running performance at Kempton, just getting caught in the final 100 yards, when tiring after setting a strong gallop.
His seasonal return at Nottingham showed some promise over a trip that is probably a bit on the short side for him. Down in grade and back on the all-weather he can break his duck over 6f.
