Wolverhampton Tip: Top Breeze
Carries a 7lbs penalty but well worth the extra weight given the two big speed figures he's run. Bumped into useful sort last time but didn't lose much in defeat.
Top Breeze carries a 7lbs penalty for making a winning debut at Kempton but he is good value for the penalty and it shouldn’t stop him winning the 6.15 Wolverhampton. In both his two starts to date he’s run good speed figures for a young horse and he was unfortunate to bump into the useful Deep Intrigue (rated in the mid-90s) last time out.
Adjusting for pace, Top Breeze earned a speed rating of 80 and nothing in this field has got anywhere near that figure yet. The one unknown is reverting to 5f but he can be keen in his races therefore the quicker pace over shorter might help him settle.
Regardless, he is a useful sort and one to keep onside.
