Wolverhampton Tip: Tan
A massive price but inexperienced 7lbs claimers replaced by Charles Bishop and the pair finished a good third back in November. Owner runs two in the same race, is a plan being hatched?
For the 4.40 Wolverhampton i’m taking a wild punt on Tan. He’s shown precious little in his last two starts but both were with 7lbs claimers on board; they are replaced by the more experienced Charles Bishop and when they last paired up they finished a good third at Chelmsford in late November.
We therefore don’t have to cast our minds too far back to find some reasonable form and it is also worth noting that Tan is a past course and distance winner. He races off a mark in the 50s for the first time since May 2018, when incidentally he also won.
He’s not been with Lisa Williamson long and with connections running Red Stripes in the same race could their be a plot going on? At a massive price i’m happy to pay to find out.
