Wolverhampton Tip: Midnightly
Race wasn't run to suit last time and hampered as pace quickened. Still manage to clock fastest closing sectional in a lost cause. In class 6 company for first time and Well handicapped.
Midnightly didn’t get the cleanest of breaks last time at Wolverhampton but more significantly she was badly hampered when the pace quickened around the bend. From a near hopeless position she stayed on well to finish a close fifth, with the fastest closings sectional of the race.
The handicapper reacted by dropping her a further 2lbs and she drops into class 6 company for the first tiem in her career. She has a good strike-rate of 4/15 on the all-weather and is a two-time course and distance winner off a higher mark. She should go well.
