Wolverhampton Tip: Lethal Talent

Has run two big speed ratings over course and distance and slightly unlucky when closing from too far back and failing to catch Corvair by a nose; who has won again since.

The market for the 3.55 Wolverhampton is biases towards the unexposed horses who won last time out. Both Ventura Bounty and Godfather have potential but they are stepping up in grade and only the Hannon horse impressed on the clock. I’m happy to take them on.

Lethal Talent looks more exposed but her form is excellent. She has been running consistently good speed ratings and again ran above her mark when earned an adjusted speed rating of 86 over course and distance. Corvair got first run on her that day (won again since) and Lethal Talent was slightly unlucky given she wasn’t ideally placed turning for home; she was the fastest closer to her credit.

Her course and distance record is 12, she is well drawn, off a good mark and underrated by the layers.
