Wolverhampton Tip: Intisaab
Won this race 12 months ago and primed for a repeat. Ran well in Listed contest at Lingfield; 21.6s closing sectional after steady early gallop. 6f record on AW is 421442.
Intisaab won this race twelve months ago and is primed to do so again. He ran right up to his best when a fast finishing second at Lingfield last month. The winner got first run on him, quickening off a steady gallop which didn’t suit Intisaab but he was only beaten a head and ran sub-22s split for the final 2f of the race.
Intisaab finished a length ahead of Gulliver in the race and I suspect the placing will be the same, Gulliver also returns in good form after his second place at Kempton. The complication is Kachy but I wouldn’t want to be backing him at a short price after a lay-off because of a wind operation. He might be top rated but he’s not that much better than his rivals over 6f. Everything is primed for a David O’Meara one-two.
