The handicap has relented and dropped to a mark of 67 we could see a sixth career win for Bellevarde. She has spend most the season playing her trade at a higher grade but it’s class 5 contests where she thrives. Her record at this level in 5f sprints is 47114426.
Last time out she showed plenty of promise when only beaten 3.5 lengths at Nottingham. Tracking a strong pace given the heavy conditions, she understandably tired in the final of six furlongs, a trip right on the limits of her stamina.
Returned to a sound surface and back at 5f she can be seen to much better effect. Her course and distance record is 423 and she is 7lbs better of with Powerful Dream although having to overturn a 4.25 lengths defeat in August 2018. At the prices she is the value bet.
