Closing sectional of 22.36s was third fastest seen at Wolverhampton this all-weather season, from 551 runners. Stepping up in trip but that gives us the fat in the price. She is an exciting sprinter
Lots of horses with potential line-up for the 6.20 Wolverhampton but Auchterarder should be a bit closer to the favourite in terms of price. Both have identical records of 121 and the price differential is because Auchterarder has been running over 5f instead of 6f.
However, on speed figures, Auchterarder is the better horse. Last time out she earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 85 when making at over 5f. Her closing sectional of 22.36s was the third fastest at Wolverhampton this winter from 551 runners. Considering she set her own (solid) gallop, it was an excellent performance. She also gets a handy weight allowance and is the one to beat.
