Wolverhampton: Tantastic
Second behind a 92-rated horse two starts back but not flattered by 1 length defeat given he ran fastest closing sectional and good overall speed rating.
The 3.30 Wolverhampton is not a strong race and although Tantastic has the highest draw given the moderate opposition inside him he could get a good position without exerting much energy and if forced wide I still think he can win.
Two starts back he finished second over course behind Get It and although some will argue he was flattered by the length defeat to a horse rated 92, I was impressed by his run. In defeat he ran a sectional adjusted speed rating of 71, better than his handicap mark and good enough to win an auction race. If you want to take further positives he was the fastest closer in the race by 0.06s!
Last time out he finished a fair third at Haydock, perhaps not helped by soft ground and he should be up to winning this race.
