Showed ability as juvenile and although 3-year-old campaign started late there have been hints. Not beaten far over course and distance (fast closing sectional ) and didn't get clear run.
The state of Politics has depressed me for several years now but he’s a new type of Politics we can all get behind. Phillip Makin and connections picked this horse up for just 13,000 GNS during the summer and it could prove a shrewd investment.
He displayed ability as a juvenile winning a decent maiden at Sandown in a good time and was only beaten 3.5 lengths in a Listed race at York. His 3-year-old campaign started late but again there have been flashes. Last time over course and distance he was one of the fastest closers and slightly unlucky to find his inside path blocked when challenging.
In the same grade and from a better draw, he should run well at a fair price.
