Wolverhampton: Okaidi

Not been with Tony Carroll that long and shown promise. Came from hopeless position to finish second behind in-form Porfin with 22.96s closing sectional; fastest in the contest. Well drawn.

Since arriving from France in the middle of the summer Okaidi hasn’t done a lot wrong. On his last 6 starts he’s not been beaten by more than 3.5 lengths and he should win a little race off a mark of 54.

Last time out he raced in rear behind a pedestrian gallop, allowing Porfin (winner again since) to get first run. Under the circumstances Okaidi did well to get second, thanks to a rapid 22.96s closing sectional, the quickest in the race by 0.31s.

Well drawn in stall 3, lets hope apprentice Emma Taff can bag her second winner.
