Wolverhampton: El Hibri

Has thrown in two poor runs on turf this season but has also placed in class 4 company. Two second places finishes on all-weather suggest surface is fine and best of a moderate bunch.

The 5.20 Wolverhampton isn’t a particularly strong race and the top-rated El Hibri can score off level weights. He’s bookended his four runs for Tony Carroll with poor showings but in-between he placed in a class 4 sprint handicap which is the best form on offer.

He finished second twice on the all-weather when with Brian Meehan as a two-year-old and although there is a question mark regards his drop down in trip he has first time cheek-pieces, a good draw and a winnable race.
