Wokingham Tip: Victory Angel
Loves fast ground and has a strong finishing kick, best seen closing off a strong pace. Lightly raced and off a fair handicap mark he can win a big sprint this summer.
Victory Angel doesn’t have many miles on the clock and shapes as if he could win a big sprint handicap. At his best closing off a strong pace on fast ground, he should have the race run to suit and he arrives in good form.
On his seasonal reappearance he was a strong finishing fourth at Newmarket but the leader didn’t come back to him in a race with a steady early gallop. He should have no such issues in the Wokingham cavalry charge and granted some luck in-running he could place or better.
