Windsor Tips: Silenzio
His performances improve by more than 2-lengths on soft ground.
The going is soft at Windsor tonight and with it unlikely to dry out my attention turns to horses that can handle the ground.
Silenzio is a horse who has suffered from niggling injury problems and seems more comfortable on a soft surface as a result. If you look at his turf record at 6f & 7f, he is a much better horse with ease in the ground.

72-78-83-74-73 = 76.0 average
Racing Post Rating on going no worse than good:
68-68-72-63 = 67.8 average
On ratings, his is 8lbs better on soft ground, which roughly translates to two-lengths. In a tight contest, this could make all the difference.
Silenzio finished 2.5 lengths ahead on Interakt in similar conditions at Goodwood last year, yet is almost double his price today. He must be value at 7/1 with Bet365.
