Windsor Tips: Black Cadillac
A quirky character who often starts slowly but he will be helped by the change in headgear and jockey.
The 8.10 Windsor should be run at a strong pace and this will suit Black Cadillac who runs in cheekpieces for the first time.
He can be a useful sprinter on his day but often ruins his races with a slow start. Last time out at Newbury he forfeited too much ground over 5f, a trip which is too sharp for him anyway.
Before that, he again started slowly at Windsor but was making eye-catching progressive until his jockey took a route best described as ‘optimistic’ until his race ended behind a wall of horses.
Daniel Muscutt takes back the ride and having won on him during the winter he will understand his mount’s foibles. If the change in headgear helps him break on terms then he could go close at 16/1 (Bet365).
