Windsor Racing Tip: Stevie Gee

stevie gee

The blinkers are back on and the early money suggest this is a plot horse.

On a quiet Monday there seems to be a small gamble being organised in the 17.00 at Windsor. In an unremarkable apprentice race, Stevie Gee could bolt up.

He is a horse who never seems to have a settled pattern of racing, often racing over a mile but then dropped back to sprinting. The key to this horse seems to be variety and the same applies to headgear.

When he last won in July, it was the first time he had worn any headgear in four races. The visor duly perked him up and he comfortably won a Class 3 race. A similar pattern is unfolding again. It is the first time in four races that he has headgear on, blinkers today, and this time in an easier Class 5 race.

He is well drawn, seems in reasonable form, and if revived by the blinkers he should be too good for this lot.
