Windsor: Nocturn

Won a hot little handicap a fortnight ago but actually drops down in grade. Is 2/2 over course and distance.

Nocturn won a hot little handicap over course and distance a fortnight ago and will be hard to beat in the 3.00 Windsor.

Jeremy Noseda’s four-year-old finished ahead of two progressive sprinters who both placed at a higher grade in their subsequent runs.

The handicapper only raised Nocturn 3lbs for his narrow victory and as a result he actually drops down in grade this afternoon.

With both wins in his short career coming at Windsor, at 9/4 (William Hill) I’d be surprised if he didn’t keep his 100% record at the track.
