Ran an excellent second behind the progressive La Fortuna over course and distance in April and handles the Fibresand. Ran well from wide draw at Nottingham.
Piazon is a big danger given his tumbling handicap mark and a return to his favourite venue, however it’s been over a year since he last won and perhaps he’s simply not as good as he was.
Twentysvnthlancers is another horse who has gone well on the Fibresand, finishing second behind the progressive La Fortuna back in April. Since then he’s won twice on turf and ran better than the bare result when fifth at Nottingham from a wide draw.
He is only a couple of pounds higher than his last winning mark and is 4/17 in this grade.
