Southwell Tip: Mister Freeze
Is 1/1 on the Fibresand and a return to the surface combined with a drop in trip could see him bounce back.
Mister Freeze was soundly beaten at Kempton last time out but he wasn’t particularly well drawn and is better over 6f rather than 7f and he returns to sprinting in the 2.15 Southwell.
The big plus is the return to the Fibresand, where he is 1/1 having won over course and distance last January in a fast time for the grade. Mister Freeze could be one of those Fibresand specialists and he’s shown enough this winter to suggest he could win a race.
His second place behind Compton Prince where he was the fastest closer, hinted at ability and the handicapper has dropped him to 63, his last winning mark.
