Sandown Feature Race Betting

The Totepool Challengers Novices' Chase at Sandown is the stand out race on Saturday and should be an informative guide for the new Novices' Chase race at Cheltenham.

The 2.25 is a cracking Novices’ Chase that has been revitalised by the introduction of the new two and a half mile Jewson Novices’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

It is difficult to rule out any of the contenders but Hidden Keel has been over looked by the bookmakers because he hails from the smaller Charlie Longsdon yard. An easy winner in a minor novices’ chase at Leicester the form was franked when runner-up Fredo scored on Thursday.

Paddy Brennan heavily eased Hidden Keel after the last fence when the race was as good as won but the time was quick, 7.8 seconds faster than the earlier handicap which suggests the form is better than it looked for the grade.
