Backed on debut but very green. Eventually the penny dropped and ran the fastest closing sectional.
Star Of Zaam was very green on debut but if he comes on for the experience he should take a hand in the 12.45 Redcar.
Last time out at Ripon he was slowly into stride and then didn’t want to race in a straight line, all obvious signs of greenness. Eventually he knuckled down to the task in hand and clocked the fastest closing sectional of the race to finish third.
A springer in the market on debut, he must have been showing something at home and there was enough encouragement on track to suggest he can win a race very soon.
