Pontefract Tips: Boundsy
Couldn't live with Storm Over at Chepstow but ran fast time in defeat. Closing sectional 0.56s quicker than third best.
Boundsy bumped into the decidedly useful Storm Over last time at Redcar but he showed enough in defeat to suggest he can win off a mark in the 70s this season.
The 2.75 length defeat was fairly comprehensive but he earned and adjusted speed rating of 71 and was the second fastest closer in the race by 0.56s.
This afternoon he is well drawn in stall 3 and should enjoy Pontefract’s stiff track having won over 6f earlier in his career. Paul Hanagan provides able assistance in the saddle and Boundsy should be good enough to win in this grade.
