Picansort It Out
Has a terrific strike rate over course and distance but last couple of races haven’t quite gone to plan.
Picansort has been racing these horses for most of the winter and can get his head in front. At class 4 level of lower, his strike rate over course and distance is 7/26 and he should be competitive in a class 6 contest.
Last time out he couldn’t live with the highly impressive Menelik but he stayed on well, running the third fastest closing sectional of the race.
The time before he finished a length behind Mossgo and is 4lbs better off this time round. More important however is the pace of the race, Mossgo enjoyed a soft lead whereas Picansort was left with too much to do.
On paper Picansort has the beating of most of these and although races don’t always go as you plan, he should be favourite in my book.
