Newmarket Tip: Cold Snap
Lost nothing in defeat when second to the in-form Goodwood Crusader over course and distance last time out. Likely there is more to come.
Cold Snap doesn’t have many miles on the clock and his unexposed profile gives him plenty of upside in the 5.50 Newmarket. Last time out he was beaten two lengths by Goodwood Crusader but that horse was completing a five-timer so the form reads fairly well.
Cold Snap was last off the bridle that day, despite them going very hard upfront and his adjusted speed rating of 82 is above his current handicap mark.
With further improvement likely to come and having already run well over course and distance, he should go well again.
