Newcastle Tip: Justice Lady
Impressive performer a couple of years ago, often running big speed ratings for her grade. Lost way slightly but ran good race over course and distance in October and well handicapped.
Justice Lady is a sprinter i’ve liked for a while now. Throughout the 2017 she was synonymous with big speed ratings for her grade and after her win at Sandown, David Elsworth pondered if she could be Listed or Group class.
Given her propensity to run a big speed figure, often with a fast closing sectional I thought she might sneak some black type but 2018 didn’t go to plan. She didn’t see much racing and struggled for form after moving to Robert Cowell.
However, on her last appearance she finished a neck second over course and distance suggesting new connections had got to the bottom of her. This is her first start in 142-days but if fit enough she should run well because she is very well handicapped off a mark of 76.
