Newcastle Tip: Gallaside
Split Vardon Flyer and Frasard at Carlisle both running well on their next starts. Coase was unable to elevate the form at Royal Ascot but all four still impressed on the clock.
Gallaside chances largely revolve around what you make of his Carlisle form. Vardon Flyer and Frasard boosted the form by both finishing second on their next starts; they were split by Gallaside. Whereas Coase was a big disappointment at Royal Ascot although he was in elevated company.
On the clock Gallaside earned an adjusted speed rating of 83, that is probably on the unrealistically large side - perhaps influenced by the soft ground. But it was still a good performance, especially when forcing an overly strong pace in the conditions. In a marked dominated by two horses, he is much the better bet.
