Running consistently well this autumn but handicapper has still eased him a couple of pounds. Ran well over course and distance last month and has the ideal draw to try make all.
Never Dark has been super consistent this autumn placing in four of his last five starts but the handicapper has been generous and dropped him a couple of pounds and now races off a career low mark of 71.
His record in 5f class 5 contests reads 112437 and he was only beaten 2.25 lengths when setting a strong early pace over course and distance on 30 September. Melody King finished ahead of him that day and is a big danger again but stall 13 could give Never Dark the edge.
