Ayr Tip: Longroom

Longroom needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Catterick but he could well be capable at Ayr. His record over course and distance is 14 and although that win came off a much lower mark he can be competitive in a higher grade.

Two starts back he finished a close fourth in an above average class 4 handicap at the track. The pace was very strong and Longroom suffered from sitting close to it, tiring in the final 3f.

In this small field he might be able to dominate. All five of his career wins have come in single digit fields and he only faces seven rivals on Saturday.
