Lingfield Tip: Reeves
Has displayed a good turn of foot off a steady gallop and his 6f winning form will help if this race of six develops into a tactical affair. Won last three starts but looks fairly treated at the weights.
Librisa Breeze is the class horse in the 1.10 Lingfield but he’s got to carry 9-10 as a result and is readily opposable. He is at his best over a mile on all-weather turning tracks but he’s not shown his customary turn of foot on his last two outings.
The in-form trio of Power Link, Reeves and Mohareb are the most attractive oppositions and all things considered i’m siding with Reeves. Another shrewd purchase for Mr Morley, he’s won his last three of which two were at this Class 2 level.
The 4-year-old has a good turn of foot having won over 6f and quickens off a slow pace, a potential scenario given the small field. He’s not raced at Lingfield before but his running style and fast sectionals suggest it will suit. He’s on the up and this like 100+ horse is still well handicapped off 93.
