Lingfield Tip: Real Estate

Ran a good speed rating for the grade last time; despite not getting a clear run. Attempts 6f for the first time but was keen behind a solid 7f gallop so should be ok with quicker pace.

On his third start for Michael Attwater we finally got to see what Real Estate is about and a repeat of that run will see him go close. Beaten by 0.75 lengths, he could be counted unlucky because he didn’t get a clear run in the home-straight. In defeat he earned an adjusted speed rating of 69, which is good enough to win in this grade and his handicap mark isn’t prohibitive.

The main concern is the drop back to 6f, his first try at the trip. However, the logic is sound. He was keen last time over 7f and that was despite the solid gallop, therefore he should cope and maybe even relish a quicker early pace.
