Lingfield Tip: Prestbury Park

The 4.00 Lingfield is a trappy event according to the betting but there is a standout horse at the prices; the aptly named Prestbury Park.

Helvetian and Desert Doctor have both showed their hands and are punished by the handicapper because of it, whereas Prestbury Park might be underrated off 88.

Last time out he finished fourth out of five at Kempton but he earned a good speed rating in defeat, largely thanks to cutting out a strong pace. He paid the price over 7f but a return to 6f is in his favour because both his wins have come at the trip.

He returns after being gelded over the winter so there is further potential upside and he looks a fair sprinter.
