Lingfield Tip: Mercers
Goes well at Lingfield and ran a big speed figure at the track when closing in a strongly run 5f contest. Gets 6f and last two runs can be ignored. Outclassed and badly drawn.
The odds-makers are struggling to find the winner in the 1.50 Lingfield and you could easily go 10/1 the field - it’s that open. A big price is where the value lays in the race and Mercers is better than his current quote.
She got her all-weather campaign underway by running a big speed figure at Lingfield in early October. Closing off a strong gallop (over 5f) she earned and adjusted sectional rating of 66. Upped in trip she ran a good race at Kempton before more recently being outclassed in a class 5 handicap and then being badly drawn over 7f at Lingfield. Ignore those last two runs and she has a chance.
A two-time course winner, she has scored over 5f and 6f during her career and she’s slipped to a winnable mark.
